Coombe Cliff Convalescent Home, Park Hill, Croydon

Coombe was originally a large family house built by Jophn Horniman of the Horniman Tea Company, at one time the largest tea company in the world.

In 1930, the Croydon Corporation (local authority) bought the house to use as a convalescent home for children.

The building currently houses Cressey College.
