Manston Cottage Homes

These cottage homes were opened by the Isle of Thanet Union in 1901. They appear to have comprised just four buildings arranged in a line along a road in Ramsgate. 1

The homes were certainly there in 1931, but how much longer were they open for? Does anyone know?

Some records of the homes survive and are to be found at East Kent Archives and the Centre for Kentish Studies.

See our page on accessing records for your rights and restrictions in terms of looking at archives about cottage homes.
